Notice of Application for Comprehensive Examination, Spring 2015

We inform you of the application procedure for Comprehensive Examination for Spring Semester, 2015.

Those who want to take a comprehensive examination have to apply for comprehensive examination within the designated period as below. Please check the specific information and follow the application procedure.

1. Qualification for Examination

- Students who earned 18 credits or more of major courses for each degree courses (except for credits that recognized from master's course in case of students in Ph.D course) and 3.0 or better of GPA

- Students who presented application documents within the period with recommendation from Academic Advisor

2. Application Period and Schedule of Examination

a. Application Period : Mar.12th(Thu) ~ Mar. 16th(Mon), 2015

b. Procedure : application on the website

   (Login AIMS2 website → ‘Academic Information for Graduate School(대학원 학사)' → ‘Graduation

   (졸업)'(on the upper side) → ‘Apply for Comprehensive Examination(종합시험신청)'(on the left side)

c. Date of Test : in April, 2015 (Test will be progressed by each department according to the schedule)

* Specific Information about date of test will be noticed by Department Office and the schedule may be modified depending on the situation, and if indeed modified, it shall be posted on the website.

d. Acceptance Criteria : 60 points or higher out of the total of 100 points for each degree program

3. Further information

- Comprehensive Examination contains two subjects(Major I, Major II) in each degree courses and Contents will be determined by each departemnts.

- If students who enrolled in Integrated course want to get only master's degree, they will be applied to the standard of comprehensive examination for Master's degree. In case of the students who applied for changing the courses from master's to integrated course, they will be applied to the criteria of comprehensive examination for Ph.D course.
